A BIBO is less than half the price of many hot tap brands, such as Quooker, Zip or Insinkerator, while providing comparable or superior functionality (most filter tap models do not provide chilled as well as boiling water). Furthermore, we beat these brands on installation costs and replacement filter costs – with no compromise on quality or service.
In addition to making a sizeable cost saving versus a filter tap, you will also save space: hot tap tanks occupy an entire cupboard under your sink, whereas the BIBO tucks away neatly on your kitchen counter.
Flexible payment options available – you can either rent the BIBO for your workplace for £36/month or you can buy it outright for your home or workplace for £549.00. So, if you’re looking for a Quooker tap alternative, BIBO’s instant hot water taps are the solution.

The humble staple of the British home – the kettle! Some products on the market claim to deliver very fast (rapid boil) hot water, but not instant! One of the biggest disadvantages of kettles is that you have to keep filling them up. BIBO is mains-fed, which means no need to fill up ever again, making it the perfect kettle alternative!
Kettles are not energy efficient! Studies show that 75% of people admit to using too much water every time they boil a kettle and 40% of households in the UK actually boil the kettle more than 5 times per day which means it’s costing you an average of 20p per day. And that’s just the home, imagine the savings if you replaced the office kettle with a BIBO? The BIBO is super energy efficient, dispenses the right amount of water for your needs and costs an average of 15p per day…that includes your cold water too!
(psst, don’t tell anybody, but we don’t know of any kettles that also provide instant cool water!).

If filtered water is what you need, then you may have considered an under-sink water filter. You typically fit a filter system under your sink and then, with a little DIY, your kitchen tap will be connected to the filter system.
You might pay £50 for a simple cartridge system that goes between the water pipe and your kitchen tap (you’ll need to replace every 6-months or so). Prices rise to £1,000+ for more complex systems. Needless to say, you only get water-filtering – no instant hot water and delicious chilled water for you!
If you’re concerned about contaminants in your water supply then you may have heard of “whole house” water filtering. You’ll need to hire a plumber to install a filtering unit where the water supply enters your home and it can be very costly.
Of course, you also won’t get instant hot or instant chilled water. And if you filter all of your water supply, you waste a lot of filtration for water you don’t intend to drink – including every time you flush your toilet (the biggest use of water in many homes).
