Water is not just a necessity; it’s a passion at BIBO. We’re committed to providing our customers high-quality water that enriches their lives, reduces environmental impact, and supports health and well-being. This pledge extends to our planet, our clients, and our products. That’s why we’re keen to share the latest news about this year’s World Water Day.

World Water Day, observed annually on 22nd March, raises awareness and mobilises efforts to address the global water and sanitation crisis. This United Nations initiative, spearheaded by UN-Water and supported by various UN-Water Members and Partners, focuses on a critical theme each year.

In 2024, the spotlight is on ‘Leveraging water for peace’. Water has the power to either foster harmony or ignite conflicts. Scarcity, pollution, and unequal access to water can lead to tensions within and between communities and nations.

The road ahead is challenging, requiring decisive action from world leaders to ensure universal access to clean and abundant water – a fundamental human right that underpins all aspects of life.

While the task may seem daunting as individuals, there are steps we can take to contribute. With the escalating impacts of climate change, there is an urgent call for global solidarity in safeguarding and preserving our precious water resources.

By using water responsibly, reducing our environmental footprint, and holding accountable those entrusted with water management, we can build a sustainable future. Our actions, personal and professional, must align with laws and regulations that safeguard water sources and ecosystems.

Together, we must rally around the cause, leveraging it as a catalyst for peace and laying the groundwork for a more secure and prosperous tomorrow.

The World Water Day 2024 campaign invites everyone – individuals, families, communities, organisations, and governments – to use water as a tool for peace. Whether through educational materials or engaging community activities like “play football for peace,” there are numerous ways to get involved and make a difference. For more information and inspiration on contributing, visit the official site.

As we approach Earth Day 2023 on the 22nd of April 2023, many of us are looking for ways to positively impact the environment. One often-overlooked aspect of sustainability is our water consumption. It’s easy to take clean water for granted in the Western world. But in reality, our supply is not infinite, and it’s not immune to pollution and contamination.

It’s about time we started making the most of our water and treating it with the respect it deserves. Many conscious consumers are doing this by investing in a BIBO.

Reduce Waste

One of the most significant environmental benefits of using a BIBO is reducing plastic waste. Many people buy bottled water because they believe it is a cleaner and safer alternative to tap water. However, the plastic bottles used to package water contribute to our growing plastic pollution problem. Green consumers can eliminate the need for bottled water and significantly reduce plastic waste by investing in a BIBO.

It’s good to know that BIBO parts are also recyclable; the Maxi Filter and the UV Lamp are fully recyclable – just pop them in your regular household recycling when you’re done.
The BIBO also saves energy: it’s super efficient, costing as little as 15p/day. That’s 25% cheaper than a kettle! Using less energy is kinder to the environment as well as your pocket.

BIBO also discourages water wastage. How often have you boiled more water than you need in the kettle? With BIBO, you only pour the water you use. And because BIBO provides water at ideal hot and cold temperatures, there’s no need to boil the kettle multiple times daily or run the tap until cold.

Treat water with the respect it deserves.

It’s a well-known fact that plastic bottles can leach chemicals into the water they carry. And the quality of bottled water isn’t guaranteed. In fact, in the past, drinks giants Coca-Cola and Pepsi have both been caught trying to launch bottled water brands that were just repurposed tap water! Meanwhile, tap water contains traces of chlorine, limescale, fluoride, and lead. No wonder it tastes so bad and is hard to appreciate. It’s about time we started showing our water some love! Making the most of our water means we’re less likely to waste it.

Only the best with BIBO!

With multi-stage filtration, including a silver-impregnated carbon block and sophisticated UV filtration, BIBO removes the bad stuff from your water but keeps the essential natural minerals – along with their character and health-giving properties.

Even better, because BIBO provides water at ideal temperatures, users are more likely to savour their perfectly-served drinks instead of chucking them down the sink.

Investing in BIBO is an excellent way for green consumers to reduce waste, practise conscious consumption and appreciate water at its best. So, why not say hello to a BIBO this Earth Day? Shop here now!

Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m sick of flowers, how about you?

Valentine’s Day is celebrated every year on 14 February. It’s a day of showing affection to loved ones – often anonymously with cards, chocolates and flowers. But who was St Valentine, and why all the tat?

St Valentine was a priest in Rome in the third century AD living under Emperor Claudius II. Believing that married men were ineffective soldiers, the Emperor outlawed marriage. Seeing this as unfair, Valentine began arranging secret marriages. Upon hearing the news, Claudius threw Valentine in jail, sentencing him to death. But in a twist of fate, Valentine fell in love with the jailer’s daughter. So when he was taken to be killed on 14 February, he penned her a love letter, signed ‘Your Valentine.’

Valentine’s Day was first celebrated in 496. February was the official start of spring for the Romans, which they marked with the festival of Lupercalia. As part of the celebrations, each boy chose a date for the festival by drawing a girl’s name from a box. After the festival, they often got married. When church leaders decided to co-opt Lupercalia as a Christian festival, they also used it to commemorate St Valentine. In time, people began associating the name of St Valentine with love.

As a true romantic, St Valentine would not be a fan of unimaginative presents. Why not surprise your Valentine with a more thoughtful gift this year that’s healthy, friendly to the environment and makes drinks taste better?

The beautifully designed BIBO Classic is a triple filter countertop water dispenser that offers instant hot, instant chilled, and filtered water at the touch of a button.

The BIBO Classic uses a multi-stage system with a higher micron filtration level than comparable products. Its silver-impregnated carbon block micro filter and powerful UV Lamp filtration remove impurities while allowing natural healthy minerals like calcium and potassium to stay!

That may be why over 85% of our customers now drink more water since installing their BIBO!

Whether you’re sober-curious or want a reset after Christmas excess, Dry January is a tried and true way to change your relationship with alcohol.

Did you know the concept dates back to 2011? When Emily Robinson signed up for her first-ever half marathon, she found the training a drag. The event took place in February, so to take the sting out of her gruelling runs, she vowed off alcohol for January. And just like that, Emily lost weight, slept better and supercharged her energy. But that’s not all; everyone wanted to talk to Emily about how it felt to take a break from alcohol.

The next year, Emily joined Alcohol Change UK and gave up alcohol for January once again. The conversation grew, word spread and people joined her in the challenge. The idea for Dry January was born! In 2013 the charity kicked off its first campaign, with more people joining every year.

Abstaining from alcohol for a month takes willpower, but it doesn’t have to be boring. You’re more likely to stick to it if you have exciting drink alternatives on standby. So here are two ways to make it easy and fun: BIBO Classic and BIBO Fizz.

The BIBO Classic will ensure you have a variety of hot and cold drinks at the touch of a button. Plus, the water being dispensing from the BIBO tastes just beautiful!

BIBO Fizz injects fun and variety into your drinks repertoire. So whether you’re thirsting for a refreshing glass of sparkling water or want to level up your Friday night with some fizzy mocktails, the BIBO Fizz will help you to “mix things up.” So why not experiment with some new recipes and ideas!  – need some ideas? Check out some recipes here

So if you’re planning a Dry January, good luck! Make it easy on yourself with our BIBO Classic and BIBO Fizz here. The post Buying a Water Dispenser: How do they stack up to traditional hot and cold water sources? appeared first on BIBO.

]]>

When you want a drink of water, you usually get a bottle out of your fridge at home or turn on a tap. And when you want to make a hot drink, such as tea or coffee, you boil a kettle, right? That’s the story for most people in the UK.

But what if we told you that you could have instant hot and cold water that wasn’t just the perfect temperature, but was also better for the environment, your health and your pocket?

For many people, the tap water in their area is not particularly tasty, and it’s well known that substances such as chlorine, lead and microplastics can all be present in your mains water at home. And while bottled mineral water is certainly healthier, the overall cost of this per year can skyrocket quickly, as well as increase environmental damage by putting more plastic landfills and seas. And when it comes to hot water, boiling kettles is also expensive and, with energy prices in the UK at an all-time high, more and more people are thinking of ways to cut down on their energy consumption.

So how do you get access to clean, drinkable water without breaking the bank? The answer lies in a water dispenser. Today, we’re going to answer the question ‘what is a water dispenser?’ We’re also going to look at reasons why you need a water dispenser at home or in the office, as well as compare these water units to other typical sources, such as water coolers and kettles.

Hot and cold water dispenser in the home

What is a Water Dispenser?

As the name that suggests, a water dispenser is a unit that dispenses water! Perfect for an office or commercial environment, water dispensers are ideal for your home as well, as they are modern, compact and economical.

As opposed to water coolers, which dispense just cold water, and kettles which only serve hot water, a  water dispenser gives you instant water at the temperature you want, at the touch of a button.

When it comes to offices, hydrated workers are happy workers! Plus, by having access to instant water, workers spend less time queuing for the kettle and waiting for it to boil. This is also the case at home! No more waiting around for your morning cup of tea or coffee.

In addition to convenience, water dispensers are also plumbed into the main water supply, meaning that nobody needs to fill the machine manually. This in turn leads to fewer accidents, like burns and minor injuries, as well as minimising trip hazards that can be caused by kettle wires both at home or in the office.

But don’t just take our word for it! Let’s see how water dispensers stack up against traditional hot and cold water sources.

Water Dispensers vs Water Coolers

Chances are you have used a water cooler in your lifetime. These large, cumbersome stands with a giant bottle of water on top are great in an office environment for providing clean and chilled water. However, because of the size of the water bottles, changing them over can be challenging at best and dangerous at worst.

Because water coolers rely on bottles rather than mains water, the constant cycle of changing them over is tedious and expensive. Oh, and they’re pretty heavy! Plus, these bottles are usually made of plastic, which increases environmental damage. Not to mention, if you work in an office that doesn’t have ample storage space on site, you might find yourself staring at a pyramid of old bottles and/or tripping over them on a regular basis.

By comparison, water dispensers are a lot more compact and convenient than a water cooler. They are also plumbed straight into the existing water supply, meaning that nobody has to change over any bottles and/or pay for the water company to send out a technician to make the change for you.

Furthermore, water dispensers don’t just supply cold water, as is the case with water coolers. So, not only can you save yourself space, time and money, but you also give your workers and guests more options when it comes to drinks.

Kettles vs Instant Hot Water Dispensers

The humble kettle has served office workers for decades. But if you work in a space with more than a few people, waiting around for the kettle to boil, then refilling it to make more drinks, is a long and time-consuming task.

Kettles are certainly the smallest of the hot water machines, plus they are highly portable, given their light weight and the fact that you can move them around the office or your home at ease. That said, a rogue kettle can be responsible for both minor and major injuries, including burns, slips and even trips caused by trailing cables. Not to mention, if a kettle has a small crack or other break in it, you could run the risk of seriously harming yourself or others.

By comparison, hot water dispensers can fit on a work surface, taking up very little room, but with all their wires safely tucked away. Plus, you never have to refill a hot water dispenser, so you always have a constant supply, which means making drinks for more than a few people at a time is a breeze.

Furthermore, you cannot control the temperature of a kettle, but with a hot water dispenser you can choose from boiling or warm, all the way down to perfectly chilled. Can you make an iced coffee with a kettle? Nope!

Water Dispensers vs Bottled Water

Many of us who live in a hard-water area often opt for mineral water as a healthy way to stay hydrated. However, if you regularly buy mineral water then you already know that this is an expensive undertaking. Plus, throwing away countless plastic bottles per year isn’t very good for the environment.

On the flip side, a great water dispenser will give you not just hot or cold water at the touch of a button, but also perfectly filtered water that is safe, clean and delicious.

For example, our BIBO water dispensers use a carbon filter and UV-ray filtration system. That means that the water comes out of your mainsand goes through this ultra-efficient process where things such as chlorine, microplastics, herbicides and even pesticides are removed, before leaving you with a glass of safe and tasty water.

Filtered Water Dispenser vs Unfiltered

That is always the argument that ‘there’s nothing wrong with tap water’. After all, half of us grew up on the stuff, and there’s nothing wrong with us, right? But did you know that UK tap water consists of up to 14 different chemicals, including chlorine, nitrates, microorganisms and even heavy metals, such as lead and copper. So although you might have been lucky so far, the build-up of these materials in your body isn’t good news for anyone.

Therefore, why not filter your water and give yourself the very best levels of hydration possible? With a carbon filter and UV filtration system, the water that comes out of our dispensers is healthy, fresh and perfectly safe.

But wait! There’s more. Filtered water actually tastes better than tap water, and it’s better for the environment because you don’t need to buy it in plastic bottles. Also, by opting for filtered water, you don’t have to spend a fortune and cart around stacks of bottled mineral water, making a water dispenser at home more convenient and more cost effective in the long run.

By using our BIBO plumbed-in water dispensers, you can have fresh and filtered water, hot or cold, at the touch of a button and still save money. In fact, some of our customers reported a 25% decrease in the overall energy bill after choosing one of our water dispensers over a traditional kettle.

We all need to drink water to stay happy and hydrated! And the safer the water, the better we’ll feel. But drinking water can also be a delicious experience that’s kind to our wallets as well. And by installing a BIBO water dispenser, you can have clean, safe drinking water, hot or cold, at the touch of a button. And all while saving yourself some money and being kinder to the environment, which sounds like a pretty good deal to us!

Installing a water dispenser in your office may be something you’ve thought about previously but ultimately dismissed. After all, the trusty office kettle has worked just fine for years, right? But what if we told you that kettles aren’t only inefficient and potentially harmful, but they will also cost you more money in the long-run? Have we got your attention? Good!

Today, we’re going to tell you everything you need to know about water dispensers and why they are the right choice for your office. We’ll also compare water dispensers with office kettles, so that you can see for yourself why it’s time to ditch the kettle in favour of an office water machine.

So, without further ado, let’s dive straight in.

Office Kettles

Everyone knows how to operate a kettle, and it’s this familiarity that keeps them popular in both homes and office spaces. However, kettles were first designed for domestic use and, as you may have already noticed, the larger the office, the more impractical using a kettle becomes.

For instance, if there are just two or three of you in an office space, then a full kettle can probably give you the two to three cups of tea or coffee you need in one go. However, if you have an office with more than three workers, you’ll know that one kettle cannot provide enough hot water for all those people at the same time. The whole process of filling up the kettle, waiting for it to boil, making drinks and then repeating the whole process takes up lots of time and becomes very tedious very quickly. Not to mention, electric kettles are notoriously inefficient when it comes to energy, costing an average of 2.5p for every boil. That might not sound like a lot at first, but when you consider how many times a kettle is boiled in a typical office per day, this starts to stack up rather quickly.

Of course, electric kettles do have the benefit of being portable, and you can take them to the nearest plug socket at ease. However, kettles were never intended for commercial use and they present some hazards in the workplace, especially if people are taking them to different points around the office.

For example, you always have the risk of burning yourself, or spilling boiling hot water on a colleague. There’s also no way to control the water temperature of a kettle, so the risk of burns is far more probable. Also, something as simple as a small crack can lead to more injuries easily, as well as people filling up the kettle too high and the contents boiling over. This last one happens more than you think, with office workers impatient to make many drinks at the same time and overfilling the kettle without leaving proper headspace at the top of the kettle.

So as you can see, kettles present their fair share of minor inconveniences, a higher overall cost and, sometimes, injuries to staff and guests. But what can be done about these pesky little office kettles? Let us introduce you to the water dispenser.

What is a Water Dispenser?

Chances are, you know what a water dispenser is. And even if you don’t, the clue is in the name! A water dispenser is a unit installed in your office or commercial environment that gives out hot and cold water at your chosen temperature instantly.

Depending on the size, your water dispenser can cater for anywhere from a two-man office up to an entire floor of workers. Your water dispenser is plumbed into the office water supply, which means that you have an endless supply of water at the touch of a button. So that means no more refilling the kettle between boils, and no more long queues of people waiting patiently with their coffee cups in-hand.

But other than cutting waiting time, what other features can you look forward to with a BIBO water dispenser? Let’s take a look

Save time

Unlike a kettle where you will have to wait for it to boil, a water dispenser can immediately be at the right temperature for you to make your tea/coffee. Employees will also no longer require to take a few minutes out of their day to make their tea. The usual unproductiveness of a tea run can be greatly reduced and employees can be back at their desks and getting on with their work.

Select your temperature

One of the best things about water dispensers is that you can set them to the temperature you want with every drink. So if you want a nice, hot cup of tea, then your water dispenser will give you instant boiling water. Or if you want a nice, cool, refreshing glass of ice-cold water, then you can get that in flash, too.

Instant and delicious filtered water

Our water dispensers come installed with a state-of-the-art filter, giving your workforce a far higher quality of water and keeping them hydrated and more proactive throughout their day. Our filtration system uses a carbon-block filter cartridge to remove chlorine from your water, which makes it extra tasty. Plus, the filter picks up and removes many other contaminants, making the water super safe to drink.

Spend less on electricity

Water dispensers are also far more energy efficient, so during the course of a year your overall expenditure on electricity for heating and/or chilling water will go down. This is especially important in the UK at the moment, with energy costs set to soar even further over the coming year.

Our BIBO water dispensers even come with a ‘sleep mode’, to save you even more energy while your workers aren’t using it. This is the one time that ‘sleeping on the job’ will save you money!

Create an ever safer work environment

Finally, water dispensers are extraordinarily safe. With instant hot and cold water at the touch of a button, workers do not need to manually fill the machine themselves, which leads to far less risk of burns or other injuries.

Furthermore, our BIBO water dispensers come in many different sizes, so they’re perfect for any office and don’t take up too much space on the countertop, with all their wires tucked away neatly behind the machine. Not only does this make them great for fitting into small office spaces, but you also reduce the risk of staff tripping over any exposed cables.

Office Kettles vs Instant Hot Water Dispensers

So now that you know all about what a water dispenser can do, it’s time to take a look at how an instant hot water dispenser fares against the humble office kettle.

First of all, we’ll admit that electric kettles are far cheaper to purchase than water dispensers. And it means that you can install hot water equipment into your office without breaking the bank. However, as we’ve seen, with a kettle using far more electricity to boil every time, the overall costs start to go up in comparison to an energy-efficient water dispenser. Therefore, while you may save yourself a few quid in the beginning, a water dispenser will serve you far better in the long-run.

Secondly, electric kettles are super lightweight and very portable, which means you can move them to any place in the office that you wish. Not to mention, you can install more than one, if needed. However, as we’ve detailed, electric kettles pose various hazards in the workplace. These include risk of burns and other injuries, as well as the cables presenting trip hazards if placed in areas where workers may walk around. But with a water dispenser, you can install it in your chosen space, with no wires hanging around and no chance of workers over-filling the machine and burning themselves on hot water.

Thirdly, as the saying goes, a watched pot never boils. How many times have you found yourself staring at the kettle as it hisses away, tapping your foot while you wait for it to boil? With an instant hot water dispenser, you can have the perfect cup of tea or coffee at the touch of a button; no more waiting around for that watched pot to boil!

Finally, contrary to popular belief, water dispensers do not take up a load of space in your office. In fact, our water dispensers take up as little as 30cm of work surface so, although not quite as small as a kettle, these are certainly not the big cumbersome items that people often imagine when they think of water dispensers.

Benefits of Water Dispensers

When it comes to water dispensers, there are some benefits which are obvious and others that you’ll only notice over time.

Instant benefits to installing a BIBO water dispenser include the delivery of hot and cold water on demand. No more queues of workers lining up with their cups. Another great perk that will delight your workers from day one is that you can choose both your cup size and temperature of the water. From delicious hot cups of tea and coffee, to refreshing ice-cold water, your workforce has access to clean, filtered water at a moment’s notice.

Another perk is that our BIBO water dispensers are beautiful, modern and compact. In fact, we’d venture to say that they are far prettier to look at than the average kettle!

Benefits that you’ll notice after you’ve had a BIBO water dispenser in your office for a while include lower electric bills. With the rising cost in energy affecting both homes and office spaces, an energy-efficient water dispenser can provide delicious, safe and healthy water at a fraction of the cost of running a kettle on a daily basis. In fact, our customers on average save up to 25% on their energy bills in a year!

Also, you’ll notice far less minor injuries and potential burns in the office, as well as a reduction in trip hazards caused by running wires from kettles. And because workers do not need to manually fill the machine themselves, the overall risk of injuries in the office space reduces considerably.

As we’ve seen today, kettles are a great addition to your home, but they are far less suitable for an office environment.

Aside from the running costs and inconvenience for workers waiting around for the kettle to boil, office kettles also increase the risk of burns and other injuries to staff and visitors.

With so many perks and benefits to installing a BIBO water dispenser, we think it’s high time that you ditch the kettle in favour of one of our cutting-edge sleek water dispensing units!

A study suggests that rising energy prices will drive most office workers back to the workplace this winter. Experts say the change is due to employees weighing up the cost of working from home compared to commuting in the cost of living crisis. As an employer, you’re responsible for the comfort and safety of your employees at work. So while you won’t want to crank up the heating full-blast all winter, you must maintain a reasonable temperature. Guidance suggests a minimum of 16 degrees or 13 degrees if employees are doing physical work.

If this still feels chilly for employees, there are other things you can do to cosy up the space. See off the winter blues by ensuring the office is well-lit. Daylight saving means your employees will arrive and leave the office in the dark during the Winter months. Consider LED lighting to banish gloomy spaces. These lights use less energy and last longer than classic fluorescent lights while closely mimicking the quality of natural light.

Encourage employees to take a full hour at lunch to go for a walk outside. Regular exercise gets the blood pumping, raises the body temperature and improves sluggish circulation – helping to combat cold hands and feet. A break from the computer screen in natural light will also boost productivity in the afternoon.

Provide tea, coffee and hot water facilities in the break room. Gossip around the water filter can feel counterproductive, but connecting with colleagues boosts team morale. Hot drinks also take the edge off colder temperatures. A hot cuppa from a colleague can feel like a hug in a mug!

The Classic BIBO is an excellent investment for the office. It can produce 7 litres of chilled water and 15 litres of hot water per hour for just 15p per day. A small price to pay to keep your team hydrated, caffeinated and feeling looked after! Using a BIBO is 25% cheaper than boiling a kettle multiple times daily. It also features an adjustable power on/off setting and various sleep modes, so your business only pays for the electricity it uses. The BIBO is also a time saver, dispensing instant hot and cold water at the touch of a button – no more lost hours on time-consuming tea runs.

But don’t just take our word for it; these recent testimonials from our loyal commercial clients make a great business case!

‘We have had our BIBOs for four years, and man do they get hammered, we have two one for our customers, and one for my employees. They have never failed, we would recommend to anybody!’

‘So pleased with our BIBO and the excellent service that BIBO provide. We purchased our BIBO 3 years ago and have it installed in our office where it is constantly in use. Even with the heavy use, ours gets it is still working efficiently, and I would thoroughly recommend.’

‘Incomparable product and customer service – I wouldn’t be without my 4 BIBOs.’

Dehydration is a common side effect of hot weather, especially during temperatures like those felt during the record heatwaves of July and August. Unfortunately, even mild dehydration is terrible news for the body’s cooling mechanisms. When the amount of blood circulating decreases, the body diverts blood to the muscles rather than the skin’s surface. As a result, the body struggles to radiate heat from the skin. Dehydration also decreases sweating because less fluid is available to the sweat glands. While sweating causes water loss, it is essential for keeping us cool.

So are you drinking enough to stay cool? Chances are, most of us are not. Professor Bhaskar Somani – a Professor of Urology and a Consultant Urological Surgeon at the University Hospital Southampton – believes the UK requires a “radical culture change” regarding our water habits. He recommends that “three litres of water a day is a small price to pay to help maintain and improve your health, particularly during heatwave spells.” Read more here.

But staying hydrated with tap water isn’t easy, especially considering you may detect a stronger-than-usual scent of chlorine during a heatwave. SES Water recently tweeted: “Chlorine may be more noticeable when water travels quicker between the treatment works and your property due to increased demand.”

Tap water temperature can also be unpalatable at this time of year, sometimes reaching 20 degrees due to the network of pipes it must travel through.

Luckily the BIBO Classic solves both these problems, making it easier to stay cool and hydrated during a heatwave. BIBOs programmable intuitive touchscreen temperature control ensures instant cold water at the touch of a button. Set it to a refreshing 4 degrees on hot days, or up to 16 degrees if you prefer. With UK summers getting hotter yearly, it’s reassuring to know a glass of cold water is always at hand.

With its multi-stage filtration, including a silver impregnated carbon block and sophisticated UV filtration, the BIBO Classic also removes chlorine, microplastics, herbicides, insecticides, micro-organisms, and bacteria, leaving your water tasting pure and delicious.

All this with the added feel-good factor of knowing that using BIBO can help you be kinder to the environment. No more running the tap for ages, wasting water while you wait for it to get cold. No more endless disposable water bottles adding to plastic pollution.

And there’s no need to worry about BIBO contributing to rising fuel bills. When you’re not using your machine, there is an adjustable power on/off setting and various sleep modes to ensure you’re only paying for the energy you use. Nifty, huh?
